Polypodium leucotomos, the key ingredient in Plesinox 3A
What is Polypodium leucotomos?
Native to tropical and subtropical regions, Polypodium leucotomos is a fern that has been extensively studied for its remarkable properties. Also known as calaguala, this botanical treasure has been utilised for centuries by indigenous communities for its health benefits.
This fern has been cultivated by our own laboratory since 1970. Our cultivation and extraction process guarantee optimal quality and effectiveness: Polypodium leucotomos is grown at specific dates in experimental farms in Guatemala, where it undergoes primary stabilisation through dehydration under controlled conditions. Subsequently, it is sent to Spain where it is processed and standardised in our extraction plant following the EU’s GMP regulations and the highest quality standards.
